Hi All,
Good to see a local club starting up. I am also a member of www.SpaceCoastJetRiders.com . Been on a jet ski since 1998 and haven't gotten off much since. When I bought my XLT1200 new in 2001 I put over 300 hours on it the first year and had 500 hours before the 2 year warranty expired. After I realized I spent $9,000 in fuel the first year I stopped keeping track.
Still do some big air wave jumping but after my hull imploded for the second time I’m taking it a little easy now. The hulls can only withstand pressure down to about 15’ on landings, anything deeper I think I’ll need a submarine.
As for other interests; Snow skiing all around Europe and out west, Mountain Biking, Sailing, Diving and just traveling where ever.
We also enjoy boating especially to and around the Bahamas, spend at least a month there every summer.
If you see me at Disappearing Island either on my ski or on my boat “Free Ride”come up and say hi…
Brad
