Windermere Chain of LakesThis is really cool view of the "lifestyles of the rich and famous" ride.. the ramp has a fee of $5.00 and you can get there by taking I-4 to Conroy road just west of downtown Orlando. From Daytona take a right on Conroy, from Tampa side of I-4 take a left on Conroy. Follow it all the way down until you see the signs for the ramp..look close they are small. Parking is limited and this is a popular spot so get there early only about 100 spots.
There are 14 lakes in the chain and each has a little pass through canal to get from one to the other.. a GPS is reccomended as it is easy to loose track..
See Shack's and Michael Bolton's place on Lake Louise and many other stars...
Bring your camera for the houses are nice.
Bird Island is a nice place to stop and have a quick packed lunch and swim..
