New! Landscape for Spring the Florida-Friendly Way -Thursday, March 13, 2008 from 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm. This Florida Yards and Neighborhoods Program Workshop will be held
at the Board of County Commissioners Chambers located at 1101 East 1st Street in Sanford. Attendees will receive valuable information and materials from the University of Florida/IFAS on selecting right plants, watering efficiently, fertilizing appropriately, and maintining the landscape. The park is located at 1153 Lake Lotus Park Road, Altamonte Springs, FL 32714. Stop by to help out with the WAV booth or help us remove some invasive plants along the trail. Do you care about kids? Help teach kids about our watershed and our environment! Make a difference by sharing our programs with children – we have the Enviroscape, Wetland Model, Aquifer Model, River Trash, story books, power point presentations and more for students.
