A manatee haven in the winter and early spring.. we ran into over 40 manatees on our last trip out going into three sisters springs. There is the major lake area..kings bay that each of the river areas branch off from and near by is rainbow river.. it is small enough you do not really need a map to explore but if you do .. just stop at any dive shop and they will give ya one for free.

BEhind Petes Pier is a small residential riverway and there is where the manatees hide in droves! great place to pull up quietly and wait for them to come over and get a back rub or belly rub from you. This is one of the only places in the world it is legal to play with manatees!

If you love them like I do this is the place to go.. Jan. is best!

Below is where we put in at and they did not charge us to use the ramp, or for parking if you stay in the hotel, otherwise it is just 5 bucks to use the ramp. Not bad and they can provide a map of the area for ya..
