This is for playing and wave jumping primarily..
You must get their early to park at the inlet..
Take I-4 to I-95 North to Ponce Inlet/Daytona Beach Exit.. follow signs as if your going to Daytona beach but once your cross the bridge and see water (A1A) then turn left to go to Daytona Beach, but turn right to go to Ponce.. follow it till you can go no further without going into the park and turn right just before the park entrance.. about 30 mins drive from the bridge so be patient.. once you turn right the ramp is on the left by the restaurant.. 2, 2 lane ramps, be sure to check for a parking spot across the street next to the giant lighthouse before you put in!
Once in go first to the right to get around the tiny 1/4 acre island in front of the ramp then immediatly to the left once in the main channel.. it is shallow at first and a manatee zone so no speeding till past the sign, then it is progressively rougher water from smooth to 7ft. swells out by the inlet.. many just go back and forth playing all day in the waves jumping.. or park on the beach, or dissapearing isalnd also known as party island and relax.. the sand is pure white clean sand and the water is crystal clear like the keys.
Many sharks.. so keep your wet shoes on and your toe rings and ankle braclets at home.. don't give them a reason to think your food.. you may just want to stay on your ski.. so take it easy at first with the wave jumping.. getting back on your ski in those kinds of wawaves after a fall can be a challenge.. ecspecially with sharks everywhere.
Enjoy and email me if your going.. I want to come too

I am out at Disappearing island most weekends. Look for my dog ( a brown and white Britney Spanial) chasing shadows. I am either on my battle worn yamaha XLT1200 or camped out in my boat named "Free Ride". If you see me come on up and chat over a beer.
I'll be out there this weekend.
