We had so many little hiccups come up from the food showing up in St. Augustine Inlet instead of Ponce Inlet to the ramp crowding, to the morning fog.. I was a bit worried most of the day.. but all in all it turned out to be really a nice day.
Everyone that was going to make it eventually did make it, a crowd of about 60 jet skis and 4 boats showed up. ALL nice, nice people. What a great group. We are so lucky!
I really enjoyed meeting everyone and am really looking forward to our next real ride. I think it will be real fun really getting to know each of you more.
Andy is our HERO!!! After the food fiasco he was gracious enough to buy us all lunch at the restaurant across from the lighthouse.
All in all the new jet skis were kickin awsome.. I know I have already started a fund in my bank account specfically for that new RXT 255! That thing FLEW off those little waves, I was airborne off flat glass water with a flick of the gas and the trm set up. WOW what power!
We laughed and got to know each other and overall that was the purpose. Truely gang. I am looking forward to a real ride down river with twists and turns and much more!
I need some fresh water too! I have sand everywhere LOL
Soo.. look for the pics in the website gallery tomorrow night I should have them all adjusted to size and posted.
March 9th is our next ride.. need to firm up the plans this week..
Thanks to all of you for comming out! It was fun!
Caio, Tina

Gotta tell ya... my husband went and was none to happy as he turned around and came home, that was 200 mile one way trip. The ramp crowding, poor conditions to unload in other areas, unfamiliar area to start with since we area not from that area. When he finally found you guys, and he said there were others he ran into too, you were all pulling away. so they turned around and went home. He wouldn't get on here and say anything so I thought you should know! _________________ Lori Mattozzi

I am very sorry.. I did not see your feed back on the event until now..
I am so sorry he had a hard time.. We had over 100 skis there.. I was trying so carefully to try and meet everyone in person. My cell phone was posted all over the board as well and in the newsletter and I tried to be clear with everyone what my ski looked like.. I was even sure to be the last to leave. I know the ramps were just a cluster mess.. so sorry for that.. there were no other events that day it was just so beautiful out that many other boaters had the same game as we did. Halifax Marina had at least 30 spots left when Andy showed up at 1pm.
What time did you come down Glasshorse? We did not leave until well after 5pm in the evening.. and there were at least 20 of us stragglers until the very end. Did you maybe see us riding over to the restaurant across from the island and think we were leaving? That is the only possiblity I can think of happened. Either way I am terribly sorry and only wanted everyone to have fun. I am open to suggestions on what I could have done to make it better for you.
I just started this club and honestly do my very best to research the weather, the locations, get GPS Coordinates, create the newsletter, maintain and update the website, add pics, and everything else that goes into planning the events.. I honestly do my best. There are not "leaders" of this club.. only one leader.. me.. so thanks for your comments I really need all the insight I can get.
I am very sorry if someone had a bad time at a party I planned.. there were quite a bit of issues that day and 4 ramps being stuffed full unexpectedly was just the tip of the iceberg.. fortunately most had a great time despite everything. I am sorry you were not one of them. Please if you will consider joining us again, let me know.. I would of course make a dedicated effort to show you the respect and courtesy you deserve.
Glashorse.. please let me know where your from.. I will try and plan some events in your backyard where your more familiar and maybe you will consider giving us a second chance and letting me buy you lunch!
All my best!
Thanks for your feedback.
Tina
