Dunedin Causeway is at the west end of Curlew Rd. on the way to Honeymoon Island. It has a drive-on beach that allows you to launch from a large area west of the drawbridge on the south side. The area is very close to Clearwater Beach, Caladesi Island and lots of small uninhabited islands. Hurricane Pass is great for wave jumping on an out going tide.
Fred Howard Park or Howard Park in Tarpon Springs is another place that has a large launch area, but it's smaller than Dunedin. This is a nice place because it's close to Anclote Island and a couple of nice sandbars, not to mention great wave jumping also. It's also not too far from Millers Bayou which has a Hooters on the water, Catches Restaurant, and a couple of smaller places to dock at and eat.
Both of these places can be seen easily from Google Earth, just type in their names. If your going to either one of these places, get there early because the best launch spots fill up quick. If anyone wants to check these places out let me know, we always go to one or the other, maybe we can meet up.
